Cash For Critters Announcing an exciting new joint fundraiser to benefit the animals served by Castaway Animal Rescue Effort (CARE), Southwest Missouri Humane Society, and Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP). This is the easiest fundraiser ever. For every ink jet or laser jet printer cartridge that you recycle in our name, our organizations will receive cash to help us fund our lifesaving programs! There is no cost to you or to our organizations. What do you do with your empty printer cartridges?  If you're throwing them away, or if you're sending them back to the manufacturer and not receiving any benefit by doing so, then here's your chance to help fix the pet overpopulation problem and be good to the environment at the same time. It's easy, and there is absolutely no cost to you. Basically, for every ink jet or laser cartridge sent in through our program, C.A.R.E. will receive up to $4 for each inkjet and up to $12 for each laser.  We are partnering with Southwest Missouri Humane Society and SNAP (Spay/Neuter Assistance Program) on this ongoing fundraising project, and the proceeds will be shared evenly among the three groups. If you're interested, all you need to do is to let us know, and we can get you all set up.  The company that offers this fundraising program will provide you with pre-paid mailing envelopes, boxes, labels, etc.  OR you can drop your used cartridges off at either of the Southwest Missouri Humane Society locations or at the C.A.R.E. Adoption Center – 1328A West Sunshine. So, rather than throwing money in the garbage (and ultimately into your local landfill), please help us help the animals.  Millions of cartridges are thrown away every year.  Millions of animals are euthanized every year.  You do the math.  This is an opportunity to make a real difference.
