There is no amount, too big or too small, to make a difference for an animal in need. Our life-saving organization operates solely on donations from the public.

C.A.R.E., a 501(c)(3) organization, relies solely on the kindness and donations of the public to care for our animals. We are not city- or state-funded, and all donations are tax deductible. C.A.R.E. is and always has been a "No-Kill" animal shelter. We have an inspected and licensed facility that is in good standing with the state. We rescue and rehome approximately 1,000 animals a year. There is no donation too big or too small. Every dollar makes a difference to an animal in need.
There are many ways to help - monetary donations are greatly appreciated and enormously helpful. You can make online donations here or drop them off at either adoption center. Here are some other ways to raise money and help the animals in our community:
Memorial Contribution
Naming C.A.R.E. as a preferred recipient of memorial contributions when a loved one passes offers a much appreciated and appropriate option for those who have supported C.A.R.E.'s mission of saving lives through rescue and adoption. If you would like to donate to honor the memory of someone special, simply come by our adoption center to fill out a form and make the donation, or you can mail us a check and include the address of where you would like an acknowledgement and thank you card mailed to. These life saving-donations are tax deductible.
Fundraising Initiatives

Event Participation and Sponsorships
Throughout the year, C.A.R.E. has a number of annual events which offer a variety of sponsorship and donation opportunities ideal for businesses and individuals. You can help us raise money, while also engaging the community during our fun events. All sponsorships and in-kind donations are tax-deductible.
