November 19th, the C.A.R.E. Adoption Trailer was stolen from us. After serving a search warrant, it was recovered by Greene County Sheriff's Officers. Unfortunately, it has been completely destroyed and now resembles a flatbed trailer. The top and sides have been removed and cut into several pieces, the generator and enclosures are missing, insulation was removed, and the air conditioner is inoperable.
For nearly a decade, it has been a vital tool helping us rehome thousands of animals. It was equipped to safely carry more than a dozen animals to offsite events, with an AC and heater for inclement weather, all powered by a Cummins Onan generator to keep our adoptables comfortable.
Please help us resume mobile adoption events. Please give our animals another option to find their forever families.
Every donation counts, and is tax-deductible. Thank you for your help. Thank you for 30+ years of rescuing. That is not possible without you, and we look forward to seeing you on the road, at mobile adoption events, or at the C.A.R.E. Adoption Center.
