C.A.R.E. was founded in 1992 and since then has saved thousands of animals lives - YOU can too!
There are several reasons one should consider adopting their next pet:
IT IS MORE COST EFFECTIVE: At C.A.R.E. your new friend will go home spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and microchipped (dogs) for $100.00. Let's put it this way, the average cost to spay or neuter a cat or dog alone can be over $100!
SAYING NO TO PUPPY MILLS: Per the Humane Society, puppy mills are factory-style breeding facilities that put profit above the welfare of dogs. The living conditions for these animals are harsh, unsanitary, and deceptive environments. The Puppy Mill Project is an organization "fighting to end puppy mill cruelty through education, outreach, and advocacy." To shed some light on the situation they have gathered some numerical data for us:
An estimated 167,388 breeding dogs are currently living in United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)-licensed commercial facilities for breeding purposes this very moment.
There are an estimated 10,000 puppy mills in the United States (this includes both licensed and unlicensed facilities).
Over 2 million puppies bred in mills each year.
The bottom line is that puppy mills are all about profits. Any money spent on veterinary care, quality food, shelter, or staff to care for the dogs cuts into the profit margin.
SAVE A LIFE: This could mean many things. While you may quite literally save the physical life of an animal, you may also save them from neglect or abusive homes. When you adopt, you open up another lifesaving opportunity for the next animal potentially awaiting euthanasia.
RESOURCES RESOURCES RESOURCES: When you adopt from a local animal shelter, you are adopting from a team of pet gurus! This means you have several people on your team to help you with any questions that may arise now or later on!
YOU ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO ADOPT FROM SHELTERS: Lead by example! Share your pets story, where they came from, and how you helped save them. When your friends and family see how awesome your new friend is, they may consider local animal shelters for their new friends as well.
BECAUSE PETS = HAPPY: That's right - our furry four-legged friends provide us with joy, comfort, entertainment, protection, and above all, love.
If you haven't already, check out our testimonials under our ABOUT tab. Hear about how some of the amazing animals from our shelter have bettered the lives of families here in the Springfield community. And if you have adopted from us, share your story! And photos... don't forget to send photos!

The convenience of coloring directly in a browser without needing to download anything is a strong point. You can upload your own line art and use the fill and brush tools to complete it, then save your work as a PNG or print it. This makes it a practical option for quick digital projects or for those who prefer not to use physical pages. PhotoColorify’s studio is a good place to start.
Adopting a rescue animal is incredibly rewarding, but it also requires careful planning to ensure you can provide a stable environment. Understanding local demographics and resource availability can help you better prepare for identifying community support services as you integrate a new pet into your home life.
Thanks for publishing this article. It's refreshing to find useful content that's easy to read. I regularly use a pinterest video downloader whenever I come across interesting creative videos.
I love that C.A.R.E. focuses on saving lives, it’s honestly way better than dealing with the stress of puppy mills. When I need to zone out after a long day of volunteering, I usually just play some cookie clicker unblocked to relax. Adopting is such a great way to help out, and it's awesome that they provide so much support for new pet owners too.
